Senior HR Advisor

Location: Scarborough
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
Working Pattern: Full time office based Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys being at the heart of a busy manufacturing environment Were working with a well-established manufacturing business in Scarborough that is looking to strengthen its People team with the addition of a Senior HR Advisor. This is a full-time office-based role working Monday to Friday offering the opportunity to work closely with managers across the site provide practical HR support and play a key role in strengthening employee engagement compliance and organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR partner providing practical advice and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Manage a range of employee relations matters including absence disciplinary grievance and performance issues.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to development and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation contracts and employee records ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Coach and support line managers to build confidence in people management.
  • Contribute to HR projects focused on engagement wellbeing training and continuous improvement.
  • Develop strong working relationships across Production Operations Engineering and other support functions.

About You

Youll already have experience in a generalist HR role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Were looking for someone who has:

  • Previous HR experience within manufacturing engineering or another operational environment.
  • Confidence managing a broad range of employee relations cases.
  • A sound understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive approachable style with the ability to build credibility across the business.
  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification would be advantageous although relevant experience is equally important.
