The Opportunity

People are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a confident and experienced HR Generalist who enjoys the variety of a hands-on role and is excited by the opportunity to shape and influence the people agenda within a growing business.

This is a standalone position meaning you will be the dedicated People professional for the UK business and the trusted advisor to employees managers and senior leaders. You will take ownership of the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations reward engagement payroll and offboarding ensuring a positive and consistent employee experience at every stage.

Alongside delivering operational excellence you will play a key role in championing and embedding our culture helping to create an environment where our people can thrive and where our values are reflected in everything we do. You will lead employee engagement initiatives support our people managers and act as an ambassador for Turnkeys values across the will also have the opportunity to support global recruitment and people initiatives providing exposure beyond the UK and allowing you to contribute to our wider people strategy.

This could be an excellent next step for an experienced People Partner or HR Business Partner looking to move into a broader role with greater ownership and autonomy. However applicants must already have strong end-to-end HR generalist experience and be confident managing a wide range of people matters independently. Success in this role will require someone who is comfortable operating as the sole HR professional balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Expectations of the Role

The role will involve but is not limited to the following areas of responsibility:

HR Business Partnering
Be the point of contact for all HR queries from managers and employees
Support managers with employee relations matters including performance absence disciplinaries and grievances providing clear practical guidance
Lead and support the performance management cycle including goal setting reviews calibration and development planning
Partner with leaders on reward and recognition including salary reviews bonus processes and promoting a culture of appreciation aligned to company values
Coach and support managers to build their confidence in handling people matters day-to-day
Review update and maintain HR policies in line with current legislation and best practice
Keep up to date with employment law to ensure the business remains compliant and consistent

Recruitment & Talent
Manage end-to-end recruitment for all vacancies including permanent hires contractors and the annual Analyst Programme ensuring compliance with IR35 where applicable
Proactively source candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and maintain an active talent pipeline
Support global recruitment activity and international hiring as required
Promote Turnkeys employer brand through candidate engagement and market presence
Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Manage all HR administration including contracts onboarding changes to terms payroll preparation and offboarding
Coordinate onboarding to ensure a positive and engaging experience for new starters
Maintain accurate employee records within PeopleHR and ensure data integrity for reporting purposes
Produce people data and reporting to support business decision-making
Plan and coordinate social events wellbeing initiatives and employee engagement activities

Culture Engagement & People Initiatives
Act as a culture champion helping to create and maintain a positive inclusive and high-performing workplace culture
Drive employee engagement initiatives that support wellbeing recognition and retention
Use HR data and metrics to identify trends and proactively address people risks
Lead or support HR projects and business-driven initiatives as the business continues to grow
Contribute to global people programmes where your coordination and input will add value

Who Are We Looking For

As the sole HR professional in the UK business you will need to be comfortable working independently whilst building strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.

Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery

Skills & Experience
The following will be particularly relevant:
Significant HR generalist experience across the full employee lifecycle with the ability to manage people matters independently from end to end
Previous experience as a People Partner HR Business Partner or similar role with the desire and capability to step into a broader standalone HR position
CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent) with a solid working knowledge of UK employment law and upcoming legislative changes
Hands-on experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish and running end-to-end recruitment campaigns
Demonstrable experience driving employee engagement culture initiatives and people-focused programmes
Experience supporting managers and leaders across a range of people-related matters
Familiarity with HR systems and tools; experience of PeopleHR and LinkedIn Recruiter would be advantageous
Exposure to global recruitment or cross-regional working would be beneficial
Strong influencing skills and the confidence to challenge constructively when required
Experience supporting organisational change growth or transformation initiatives is desirable
Experience within a consultancy professional services or similarly fast-paced environment would be advantageous

Salary
Up to 70000 depending on a combination of factors including level of experience and expertise in addition to an OTE bonus.
