Job Summary

Early Talent Development Specialist 13 Month FTC London

An opportunity has arisen for an Early Talent Development Specialist to join a global law firm on a 13 month maternity cover contract based in Canary Wharf London.

This is a substantial role. You will be the main point of contact for approximately 150 trainees running career development meetings to advise on performance development seat and qualification preferences and leading the qualification process in liaison with Trainee Partners HRBPs and trainees.

The role is genuinely varied. You will identify Trainee resource needs alongside Resource Managers manage secondments in conjunction with Partners and Global Mobility and lead pre training contract presentations. You will also be involved in supervisor training work with the Academy team on learning initiatives and provide coaching support to help trainees reach their full potential.

There is also a project element to the role including initiatives such as the Trainee Learning Curriculum supplier management inclusion and diversity work and employee relations matters such as exit interviews and advising on grievance or disciplinary issues. You will be recognised as a trusted advisor to the business.



Requirements

What you will need:

  • Proven experience in Early Talent Development gained within a law firm is essential
  • Solid HR experience ideally as an Early Talent Development Specialist or HR Business Partner
  • Experience managing early talent programmes including performance management
  • The ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • CIPD or equivalent qualification would be advantageous

The role operates Monday to Friday on a hybrid basis with a minimum of three days per week required in the office.
