As the HR Advisor you will act as a trusted advisor to Managers and Heads of Departments leveraging your up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation HR best practices and innovative technologies. Reporting directly to the Head of HR you will provide comprehensive guidance across the entire employee lifecycle. You will lead on employee relations shape modern HR policies drive engagement and wellbeing initiatives and collaborate closely across the organisation to deliver efficient high-value HR operations.
What Youll Be Doing
Serving as a key point of contact for managers and department heads leading on ER topics and providing guidance across the full employee lifecycle.
Implementing and administering core programmes including compensation leave performance and talent management succession planning L&D and recognition.
Developing modern policies and processes aligned with employment law and industry trends while coaching managers on best-practice people management.
Coordinating and reviewing company benefits schemes (pension healthcare life assurance income protection cycle to work) managing renewals benchmarking and supporting Picos wellbeing programmes.
Leading key HR projects exploring workflow efficiencies and managing monthly payroll administration board reports and internal communications.
Collaborating with the Talent team to support timely onboarding and hiring processes while managing third-party supplier relationships and maintaining accurate HR records.
What Youll Need
CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) with solid generalist HR experience and a sound practical understanding of employment law.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for interacting with diverse teams and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Diligent detail-oriented approach with strong organisational numerical and literacy skills to manage a varied workload at pace.
Proficient in Microsoft and Google packages with a tech-curious mindset and a strong comfort level using AI tools to enhance productivity.
Desirable
Previous experience working within a software or technical environment.
Experience working with HRIS tools such as BambooHR and/or Cornerstone.
This role is hybrid up to two days from home and three days onsite in the St Neots office with flexibility as required for business needs.
