Housing Officer

Role:Neighbourhood Services Manager (Internal Job Title)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: 32936 to 41170 per annum (salary offered dependent experience) plus Essential Car User Allowance of 2329 and London Allowance of 2739 per annum.

We are avid supporters of agile working and you will be provided with a laptop tablet and phone in order to work out and about on your patch from home and in our offices.

Location: London Southeast (Bexley Bromley and Greenwich) - agile working with contractual base Pollards Hill Mitcham.

Are you passionate about delivering excellent housing services and building strong safe communities AtMoat were looking for a proactive and customer-focusedNeighbourhood Services Managerto join our team and take ownership of a diverse housing portfolio.

In this role youll be the face of Moat in our communitiesmanaging tenancies and leases ensuring high standards in estate services and responding swiftly to anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches. Youll work closely with residents contractors and managing agents to ensure our neighbourhoods are clean safe and well-maintained.

What youll be doing:

  • Conducting regular estate inspections and monitoring cleaning and gardening contracts
  • Managing tenancy and leasehold queries in line with service standards
  • Ensuring managing agents deliver value-for-money services
  • Taking prompt enforcement action on ASB and tenancy breaches
  • Supporting new tenants and shared owners through sign-ups and onboarding
  • Handling complaints and ensuring compliance with the Housing Ombudsman Code
  • Fulfilling our safeguarding obligations ensuring that vulnerable residents are signposted to key agencies and providing appropriate support in our capacity as landlord

What were looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of tenancy and leasehold management
  • Experience in handling ASB and community engagement
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Youll have excellent time management skills with an ability to manage a complex caseload whilst adhering to important deadlines
  • A relevant housing qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport
