Housekeeping Team Lead Dunedin Reading Full time 37.5 hours Permanent

Spire Dunedin Hospital are looking for a dedicated and motivated Senior Housekeeper to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will assist the Head Housekeeping in supervising the housekeeping service. Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout according to hospital policies

Spire Dunedin Hospital has been serving the Reading community for over 100 years as a first-class medical facility. Based in the heart of Reading the hospital has two theatres 16 inpatient beds three recovery bays Oncology services and an Endoscopy Suite

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise the day-to-day housekeeping duties
• Manage key performance indicator figures
• Ensure completion of time sheets
• Maintain and develop a quality cleaning service with an emphasis on infection control
• Implement induction training keeping with hospital policies and procedures
• Ensure that accurate housekeeping cleaning records are kept

Who were looking for:

• Previous experience in hospitality and/or housekeeping in a similar capacity
• Line management/supervisory experience
• Good knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety regulations would be beneficial
• You must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate well with other members of staff and patients in a professional manner
• Capable of working on own initiative and with a methodical approach to work
• Flexible to work various shift patterns (early mornings days and evenings) and days across Monday-Sunday.
