Housekeeping Supervisor
Job Summary
Were looking for a positive energetic and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to support the Executive Housekeeping Manager with the day-to-day running of our busy Housekeeping Department. Youll lead and motivate the team while working alongside them to ensure our guest accommodation is prepared to the highest possible standard.
This is very much a hands-on supervisory role. Alongside your leadership responsibilities youll clean and prepare your own allocation of guest rooms. Youll also spend one day each week working within our Linen Department supporting this essential area of the Housekeeping operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading supporting and motivating the Housekeeping team
- Creating a positive working environment and setting a strong example
- Cleaning and preparing your own allocation of guest rooms
- Checking rooms to ensure our consistently high standards are maintained
- Organising workloads and helping the team meet daily deadlines
- Responding promptly and professionally to operational and guest requirements
- Supporting the Linen Department one day each week
- Ensuring health safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
Hours and salary:
- 32000 per annum
- Full-time permanent position
- 40 hours per week
- Five days out of seven
- Shifts scheduled between 7.30am and 5.00pm
- Weekend and bank holiday working required
- Flexibility will be required in line with business needs

Previous experience in a supervisory housekeeping role is essential.
Youll also need:
- A positive energetic and motivational leadership style
- A genuine willingness to work alongside and support your team
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Strong communication organisational and people-management skills
- The confidence to provide clear direction and constructive feedback
- The ability to remain calm and focused in a busy environment
- Good physical fitness as this is an active and physically demanding role
- Flexibility to support the department in line with business needs
