The Role

Were looking for a casual Housekeeper to join our friendly team helping to keep our residents homes and shared spaces sparkling clean safe and welcoming.

This is more than just a cleaning role its about bringing warmth care and pride to the work you do and helping our residents feel comfortable and supported.

Youll be part of the daily life of our community building genuine relationships with residents and playing a key role in making Birchgrove feel like home.

What Youll Be Doing

• Carrying out detailed housekeeping routines in residents apartments and shared spaces
• Ensuring communal areas are kept tidy clean and inviting
• Keeping an eye out for any maintenance issues or concerns and reporting them promptly
• Replenishing communal supplies as needed
• Building warm friendly relationships with residents and their families
• Offering support with compassion patience and respect
• Always working in line with Health & Safety policies to keep everyone safe

About You

Were looking for someone who is:

• Warm approachable and kind-hearted
• Passionate about supporting older adults and enhancing their daily lives
• Experienced in housekeeping or a similar role
• Able to balance high standards of cleanliness with a caring people-first approach
• A good communicator with excellent attention to detail
• Reliable organised and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
