Hospitality Supervisor

Hours: 26 hours.

St Gemmas Hospice is one of the leading charitable hospices in the UK. The Hospice provides expert palliative and end of life care in a quality environment for thousands of local people each year.

We are looking for a Hospitality Supervisor to oversee our Hospitality Assistants and help provide a high-quality food and beverage service to patients visitors and staff across our hospice. We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and leading teams.

In this varied role you will supervise and support the hospitality team manage rotas and staffing requirements oversee training and compliance monitor performance and attendance and ensure excellent service standards are maintained throughout the wards and bistro. You will also work closely with clinical and facilities teams to ensure patient dietary needs are communicated and managed safely.

The successful candidate will have previous supervisory experience within hospitality catering healthcare or a customer service environment along with strong organisational communication and people management skills.

You will:

• Previous Supervisory Experience
• Have good organisational skills.
• Be able to prioritise work and use your own initiative.
• Have a good understanding of hygiene and food safety.
• Have a knowledge of COSHH and infection control.
• Be comfortable working in a healthcare setting supporting vulnerable individuals with dignity and sensitivity.
