About Us

Woodcroft Veterinary Group is a busy seven-branch practice offering the very best treatment options for our patients with informed client consent. We are supported by our own out-of-hours service a Tier 3 hospital and an in-house multidisciplinary referral team led by certificate holders.

We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our hospital team focusing primarily on inpatient care. As this role will involve periods of sole charge applicants should have a solid level of clinical experience and confidence in decision-making.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding position with an average 40-hour working week including:

• Day shifts: 7:30am 5:30pm
• Twilight shifts: 4:00pm 12:00am
• Weekend rota participation with time off in lieu during the week

You will work with a diverse and exciting caseload while being supported by a highly skilled and experienced team.

Facilities & Equipment

We strive to provide gold-standard veterinary care and offer access to a wide range of advanced facilities and equipment including:

• CT scanner
• Doppler echocardiography
• Flexible and rigid endoscopy
• Digital radiography suites
• Ultrasound scanners
• Dental radiography
• Electrocautery
• Laparoscopy equipment
• Advanced anaesthesia monitoring and equipment

Based in Stockport Cheshire we are ideally located for enjoying both the Peak District and the Lake District while also benefiting from excellent transport links and easy access to the vibrant city of Manchester.
