Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Homelessness Officers with a strong understanding of housing legislation particularly in relation to ending duties under Sections 193 and 188 of the Housing Act. The successful candidate will have:
- Experience managing a homelessness caseload within a frontline service
- Strong knowledge of homelessness and housing legislation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work empathetically with vulnerable applicants
- Experience making legally sound decisions and maintaining accurate case records
- A collaborative approach to working with internal teams and external partner agencies
