Home Manager Nursing and Dementia Care East Leeds 50000
A small nursing home in East Leeds is seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a fulloccupancy service for older adults living with dementia. The home has been through a turnaround project and is now ready for its next chapter under new ownership.
The home is currently rated Requires Improvement with CQC and has clear plans in place to move to Good. You will have the support autonomy and space to lead the home in a way that reflects your experience and judgement.
Lead the day to day running of a nursing and dementia care home
Drive quality compliance and resident experience with a clear plan for achieving Good
Work closely with a full supernumerary Deputy Manager administrator nurses and carers
Build strong relationships with residents families and the local community
Maintain oversight of staffing training care planning and clinical governance
Attend weekly GM meetings where key themes are reviewed including falls enquiries staffing and occupancy
Partner with an external highly qualified professional who completes provider visits on behalf of the owners
Experienced Home Manager with a strong track record in nursing and dementia care
Confident leading a home through improvement change and regulatory uplift
Comfortable in a setting that values autonomy common sense and clear communication
Able to bring calm authority consistency and a steady presence to the team
Strong understanding of CQC expectations and how to evidence good practice
A fulloccupancy home ready for its next phase of improvement
Supportive owners who are handson straightforward and flexible rather than corporate
A stable leadership structure with supernumerary support
External activities provision already in place
Flexibility around working hours once the home is running well
