You will teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 delivering lessons that combine strong subject knowledge with opportunities for students to analyse evidence interpret historical events and construct well-supported arguments.

The KS3 curriculum will provide students with a broad understanding of significant periods and developments while KS4 teaching will focus on preparing students for GCSE examinations. A strong History Teacher will be able to make lessons engaging through the effective use of primary sources historical evidence discussion and case studies. You will also assess student work regularly and use feedback to help pupils make clear progress.
