You will teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 helping students develop a strong understanding of significant historical events while building their ability to analyse evidence and interpretations.

At KS3 you will deliver a broad curriculum covering a range of historical periods and developments. At KS4 you will prepare students for GCSE examinations with a particular focus on source analysis historical interpretations extended writing and examination technique.

The successful teacher will be able to make History engaging through the effective use of primary sources case studies discussion and debate. You will also assess student work regularly and provide specific feedback to help pupils improve.

The salary for this History Teacher position will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS depending on experience and qualifications.
