The Role
Teach History across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 teaching depending on experience.
Develop pupils understanding of chronology historical interpretations and evidence.
Teach source evaluation and structured essay writing.
Support examination classes with revision and feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues on schemes of work and assessment.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong historical subject knowledge.
Can encourage informed discussion and independent thinking.
Demonstrates effective planning and classroom management.
