Job Summary
An ambitious secondary school in Worcester is seeking a History Teacher to join its Humanities team. The school is committed to developing students knowledge confidence and analytical skills and is looking for a teacher who can bring History to life in the classroom. The position is available from October.
Teach History across KS3 and KS4.
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
Use assessment to monitor and improve progress.
Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment.
Hold QTS and a History-related degree.
Have excellent subject knowledge.
Be confident teaching GCSE History.
Demonstrate strong classroom management.
Have high expectations of student achievement.
