SHIFT PATTERN & LOCATION

Were recruiting a HGV Technician at our site in Barnsley on a:

• Any 5 over 7 day rota
• 40 hours a week
• Working between the hours of 6am and 10pm on a rotating day and back shift

HOURLY RATE & BENEFITS

• Base rate between 18.47 - 22.30 depending on skills and experience

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

As a HGV Technician youll play a key role in ensuring our fleet runs safely efficiently and on time. As part of your role youll:

• Keep our HGVs and trailers performing at their best through expert servicing and maintenance that meets the highest safety and performance standards
• Use your technical expertise to accurately diagnose and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical faults
• Respond to breakdowns and reactive maintenance with confidence delivering effective first-time fixes that keep operations moving
• Work to manufacturer guidelines using the latest technology and best practices to maintain a reliable efficient modern fleet
• Maintain clear accurate records of all work completed supporting compliance quality and continuous improvement

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Ideally youll have:

• NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• HGV experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Class 1 license is desirable but if you dont have it we will support with this
