Job Summary
- Driving Duties:
- Operate a dustcart/refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure compliance with road traffic laws and operational procedures.
- Complete collection rounds within agreed timescales.
- Plan and manage daily collection routes effectively.

- Assist with loading refuse and waste materials as needed.
- Collaborate with loaders to complete daily schedules.

- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.

- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
- Desirable:
- Previous Local Authority experience.
- Experience in waste management or environmental services.
- Experience as a Driver Assistant.
- Manual Handling experience.
- Previous Local Authority experience.
- Part-time position working 20 hours per week.
- Physically demanding role involving driving and loading duties.
- Flexibility to work beyond contracted hours to ensure completion of rounds.
- Interviews will be held at Unit 4 Sandgate Street Industrial Estate 57 Sandgate Street London SE15 1LE. Candidates must bring their Driving Licence CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card for inspection.

Candidates must bring their: Driving Licence CPC Card Digital Tachograph Card for physical inspection. Additional Information Part-Time 20 hours per week Rate: 24.15 per hour (Umbrella) Pay is provided on a bi-weekly basis Drivers are required to assist with loading duties Ability to plot and manage daily collection routes is essential Flexibility to work beyond the contracted 2:00pm finish time is essential where required Previous dustcart driving experience is highly desirable Previous Local Authority or Waste Services experience is preferred Manual handling and loading duties form part of the role Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a small established team are essential
