HGV Class 1 Driver – Days

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Start Times: Usually around 6:00am
Job Type: Full-time ongoing work
Nights Out: Available but not compulsory

Drivers Today is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for regular ongoing work in Stoke-on-Trent.

The work is a mixture of general haulage and trunking with typical start times of around 6:00am. Nights out are available for drivers who want them but they are completely optionalday drivers are equally welcome.

The role:

• General haulage and trunking work

• Curtain-sided vehicles

• Mainly Monday-to-Friday shifts

• Typical starts at approximately 6:00am

• Longer-distance work may be available

• Optional nights out

• Completing vehicle checks and paperwork accurately

• Representing the customer professionally at all times

What were looking for:

• Valid Category CE driving licence

• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card

• Previous HGV Class 1 experience preferred

• A professional and reliable approach

• Good communication and paperwork skills

• A sensible attitude towards vehicle care and road safety
