Duties and responsibilities

• Assist the qualified nursing staff under their supervision in providing a high quality comprehensive service to all patients and users ensuring a high standard of a patient care is maintained in a clean and safe environment
• Undertake basic observations of patients vital signs Bloods and perform ECCGS
• Records information related to designated tasks accurately and passes it on to the relevant person in the team on time.
• Identifies and reports any significant changes that might affect the individuals health and wellbeing to the appropriate person.

Who were looking for

• Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
• Experience in the following: ECGs taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate
