OverseetheH&SteamacrossUK(3sites)anddriveteamdevelopment.
ActasthecompetentpersonundertheHealth&SafetyatworkAct.
LeadtheH&SstrategyandcontinuousimprovementroadmapandensurelegalcomplianceacrossUKsites.
Provideexpertadvicetothesiteleadershipteamonriskandcompliance.
OverseeinthepreparationofcorporateH&Sassessments/managementplans.
Supportandleadresponsestocustomer&corporateESGgrouprequestsforinformation.
Supportwithandensuretimelycompletionofincidentinvestigationsandreportingbylinemanagers.
ManageanddevelopH&Scommunicationsandtrainingcontentasrequired.
SupportandcoordinateinternalauditsofISO9001ISO13485&H&Scompliance.
Provideupdatestositehealth&safetyKPIdata(reportingofaccidentsincidentsandnearmissdata)
OverseeSOPsandgiveguidancewithriskassessments
Managehealth&safetytrainingfornewstarters
Leadmonthlyhealth&safetymeetingsaspartofthehealth&safetycommittee
(BCP).
Liaseandarrangewithwithexternalorganisationsandcontractorson;equipmentinspectionsi.e.LOLERandPUWERinsurancevisitsandinspectionsFireRiskassessmentsetc.
Managesiteinfrastructurechangesandlayoutplanning.
AssessrequirementsandprovideRAMSandPermitstoWorkfortheManchestersiteasneededwhilesupportingtheUKHSErepresentativeatsistersites(Wotton/UKBC)indeliveringthesamewithintheirbusinessunit.
