This full-time role with the option of a 9-day fortnight to support a healthy work life balance.
Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety and leading a team of Health & Safety Officers youll work closely with senior leaders across the organisation as a trusted adviser helping them manage risk improve compliance and embed a proactive approach to health and safety. Typical responsibilities include leading audits and assurance activities analysing performance data supporting strategic projects coaching managers and driving improvements that make a real difference across the business.
Skills and Experience Needed
A NEBOSH Diploma NVQ Level 5 NCRQ Diploma (or equivalent) is normally required; however were keen to hear from ambitious candidates who are actively working towards a recognised health and safety qualification. You should be working towards NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals or equivalent Level 6 qualification within an agreed timeframe( to be discussed at interview).

Youll have strong communication and stakeholder management skills be comfortable challenging and coaching others and enjoy working proactively to drive continuous improvement. Experience of audits inspections assurance activities and health and safety management systems would be advantageous.

This is a 37 hour per week role and permanent with a competitive salary along with a great package designed to support you at work and beyond.
44121 per annum working towards qualification / 55162 per annum on completion
26 days holiday pro rata entitlement plus Bank holidays. Rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service.
