This is a varied role supporting the delivery of health and safety best practice across a multi-site business ensuring compliance and promoting a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.

Working closely with colleagues across multiple departments you will provide practical advice review and develop policies carry out risk assessments and investigations and help ensure legal compliance across the business.

What Youll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Health & Safety Advisor:

• Review update and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
• Develop practical processes in collaboration with departments across the business
• Carry out risk assessments incident investigations and compliance reviews
• Analyse health and safety data and identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide practical guidance and support to managers and employees on health and safety matters
• Promote a positive health and safety culture while ensuring compliance with current legislation

What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification
• Previous experience in a Health & Safety Advisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of current UK health and safety legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident working with stakeholders across different departments
• Highly organised with strong administrative and IT skills
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently
• Full UK driving licence
