Job Title: Care Assistant

Contract Type: Zero-Hours (Flexible working)
We are looking for a compassionate reliable and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in the Romford this role you will provide vital support to individuals in their own homes helping them maintain their dignity comfort and independence.
Operating on a zero-hours contract this position offers excellent flexibility allowing you to pick up shifts that fit around your lifestyle and existing commitments. Whether you are looking for early mornings late evenings or weekend work this role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while managing your own schedule.
Personal Care: Assisting clients with their daily routines including washing dressing grooming and personal hygiene.
Medication Support: Prompting or safely administering medication in strict accordance with individualised care plans.
Meal Preparation: Helping prepare nutritious meals and ensuring clients are adequately hydrated throughout the day.
Companionship & Wellbeing: Providing emotional support engaging in friendly conversation and identifying any changes in a clients health or wellbeing to report back to the management team.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate detailed and up-to-date daily care logs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: Familiarity with assisted living nursing home environments or specialized care for Alzheimers and dementia patients is highly preferred. However no prior experience is required if you have a background in retail hospitality or simply a strong desire to enter the care giving field those transferable skills are highly valuable.
- Skills: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) a hospitable demeanour and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Relevant skills such as first aid and medication administration are beneficial.
- Requirements: Successful applicants will be required to hold or undertake an Enhanced DBS Check. Essential care certificates are preferred though full training will be provided.
