We are looking for a Head of UK & Ireland Facilities Management who is strategic collaborative and results-driven to join our Engineering & Sites and Facilities team based at our UCB campus located in Windlesham Surrey United Kingdom.
About the role
You will lead the strategic direction governance and operational delivery of Facilities Management and Real Estate across the UK and Ireland. You are going to ensure safe compliant and high-performing workplaces that support business continuity and employee experience. You will also contribute to global strategies while translating them into impactful local execution.
Who you will work with
You will work closely with global facilities leadership and partner with cross-functional teams including Finance Procurement IT HR and country leadership. You are going to collaborate in a matrix environment engaging with internal stakeholders and external partners across multiple countries to deliver aligned and effective solutions.
What you will do
- You will drive Facilities and Real Estate strategy aligned with global direction and local business needs
- You will manage facilities services delivering safe efficient and high-quality workplace environments
- You will be an active member of the UK/Ireland management team
- You will oversee real estate portfolio including leases optimization and landlord relationships
- You will ensure compliance with health safety regulatory and operational requirements
- You will lead financial planning budgets and capital investment for facilities and site development
- You will lead coach and develop teams while managing vendors and external service providers
Interested
For this role we are looking for the following education experience and skills:
- You hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Facilities Engineering or related field
- You bring 10 years senior experience in Facilities Management ideally in pharmaceuticals
- You have strong financial acumen managing large budgets and capital projects
- You demonstrate expertise in real estate portfolio and multi-site operations
- You have strong knowledge of health safety compliance and regulatory environments
- You are an inclusive leader with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
