Job Summary

Responsibilities
- The development and implementation of a range of policies and procedures to ensure effective functioning of SGORR.
- A programme of recruitment training and retention for a pool of over 60 volunteers from across Scottish Government ensuring the active promotion of diversity inclusion and equality of opportunity.
- The identification and management of lessons and recommendations relevant to SGORR.
- The maintenance and continuous development of a range of physical facilities and associated infrastructure.
- Management and development of the SGORR programme of engagement both across SG with COBR and other UK Gov departments and with a range of partner agencies contributing proactively to the wider crisis management ecosystem.
- The delivery of SGORR response both during office hours and out of hours as required including during major exercises.
This role is offered on the understanding that applicants would require to apply for and secure Security Check (SC)-level clearance.
