Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming retail operations Boots is on the lookout for a passionate and strategic Head of Retail Operations & Loss to join our Central Operations team in Nottingham. What youll be doing
In this pivotal role you will drive operational excellence across our retail estate while safeguarding profitability through effective loss prevention strategies. You will lead a dedicated team ensuring our stores deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high operational standards. Your leadership will shape the future of retail at Boots making a tangible impact on our success

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of consistent high-quality retail operations across all stores.
• Drive performance against key metrics including sales productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Implement operational strategies that align with our commercial objectives.
• Develop and deliver a comprehensive loss prevention strategy to minimise loss.
• Use data analytics to drive decision-making and improve operational performance.

What youll need to have (our must-haves)

• Proven retail leadership experience with a strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A passion for developing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ability to influence at executive level and across cross-functional teams.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience in leading teams across a broad spectrum
• A track record of driving operational performance in a retail environment.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
