This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical Electrical Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH) cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power stations vast network of rooms.

The role

As a Head of Mobilisation you will lead the end-to-end mobilisation of major programmes and contracts ensuring projects transition seamlessly from concept to operational delivery. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape mobilisation strategy drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure operational readiness across a complex engineering programme.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week and based at our Hinkley Point C Bridgwater Somerset site.

Day-to-day youll be required to:

• Leading mobilisation activities across multiple programmes to ensure successful and timely delivery
• Driving mobilisation strategies governance and planning frameworks across projects
• Coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve operational readiness and performance targets
• Managing risks resources and stakeholder engagement throughout mobilisation phases
• Ensuring compliance with contractual regulatory and safety requirements

Essential experience of the Head of Mobilisation:

• Demonstrating leadership experience within programme delivery mobilisation or project management environments
• Managing complex large-scale projects within engineering defence or infrastructure sectors
• Driving stakeholder engagement across senior internal and external partners
• Applying strong governance risk management and delivery frameworks
• Leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications for the Head of Mobilisation:

• Degree or equivalent experience in related discipline
• Project or programme management qualification such as Association for Project Management or equivalent (desirable)

Security Clearance
