Head of Governance

Were seeking a Head of Governance to lead our Governance Team and strengthen decision-making across mhs homes. Youll work closely with our Board Committees and Executive Team in this visible influential position.

• Leading and developing our governance framework policies and ways of working
• Ensuring effective Board Committee and leadership meetings with clear well-informed decisions
• Leading governance reporting to boards and committees
• Overseeing regulatory compliance statutory registers records and returns
• Strengthening risk management assurance and internal audit arrangements
• Leading and developing a high-performing Governance Team
• Building trusted relationships with colleagues Board members regulators and partners

• Strong experience in governance risk and compliance from social housing education public sector or another regulated environment
• Confident working with Boards and Committees
• Comfortable interpreting regulation and guidance
• Clear communicator and strong organiser who takes pride in accurate high-quality work
• Supportive leader who develops others builds confidence and creates continuous improvement culture

Salary: Up to 70000
