Job Summary
A large global professional services organisation is undertaking a major transformation of its enterprise data landscape building a modern Microsoft Fabric-based data platform and strengthening its internal Data & AI capability.
They are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the architecture standards and design of this new data environment.
The Role
- Lead the architecture and design of the Microsoft Fabric data platform
- Define patterns for Lakehouse Data Warehouse Real-Time Analytics Semantic Models and Data Engineering
- Design scalable data ingestion transformation storage and consumption patterns
- Define enterprise conceptual logical and physical data models
- Establish metadata-driven architecture data lineage and cataloguing standards
- Define Master Data Management (MDM) principles
- Develop enterprise data architecture standards and roadmaps
- Design integration architectures using APIs event-driven patterns and ETL/ELT
- Embed data governance security and data quality
- Work across data engineering analytics architecture and business teams
