Head of Credit Distribution

The role will look to mitigate risk optimise and enhance existing assets recycle capital and support new origination through strategic solutions to deliver value to both Shawbrook and our customers

The role will lead on working with 3rd parties to help support origination and manage the risk profile of the book including but not limited to

• Portfolio Solutions (excl securitisation via CFO)
• Agency
• Syndications/Sub-Participations with 3rd party lenders
• Credit Insurance
• Asset sales

In addition the role will provide product structuring relationship and portfolio management input / advice across key product lines to ensure originated assets are structured in a manner to maximise both future distribution options and the optimal capital treatment.

The role will have ongoing management of internal and external responsibilities for solutions delivered e.g. management of ongoing to asset sales portfolio management for structured solutions etc

Key Responsibilities

• Identify multi-tiered distribution options and strategies
• Execute approved distribution strategies alongside key stakeholders
• Managing post execution in-life activities
• Develop tailor made solutions (in house or through 3rd party advisors) for individual clients to continue to support customer and balance sheet growth
• Work with origination and product teams to ensure originated assets are structured in a manner to maximise both future distribution options and optimal capital treatment
• Manage credit legal and compliance risks through effective team infrastructure and associated controls
• Lead on balance sheet optimisation including risk model approaches and RWA optimisation
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across the wider organisation

Qualifications :

Education/Professional Qualifications

• Degree/MBA or similar business qualification or equivalent work experience appropriate to the role
• Proven experience in relevant market segment
• Deep and broad business and financial acumen
