Are you ready to take your career to the next level Join Boots as a Head of Category in our General Merchandise Business Unit focusing on Toiletries Mens and Dental categories. This is a pivotal role where you will lead the strategy and execution to drive growth and innovation in these key areas.

In this exciting position you will report to the General Merchandise Category Director and lead a team of 3 direct reports. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing category strategies to maximise sales and profitability.

• Analysing market trends and customer insights to inform product selection and pricing.

• Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure product availability.

• Leading cross-functional teams to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.

• Monitoring performance metrics and adjusting strategies to achieve business objectives.
  

To thrive in this role you should possess:

• Strong commercial experience with a proven track record of delivering revenue and profit.

• An understanding of Boots ways of working and a strong internal network.

• Insight into the importance of Boots own brand in these categories.

• Proven experience in working with and nurturing SMEs.

• Strong leadership skills and team development experience.

• The ability to influence cross-functionally.

• Excellent relationships with Boots shops.
