Job Summary
The Head of Business Elite Prestige Division position in Chelmsford is a senior leadership role responsible for driving ultra-luxury vehicle sales maximizing high-margin profitability and delivering a concierge-level client experience for high-net-worth buyers.
Compensation: C70000 basic salary OTE 100000 (uncapped) company car and comprehensive benefits package
Role Overview
You will lead a high-performing specialized dealership team representing elite high-priced prestige and luxury vehicles. Your focus will be on bespoke clienteling brand stewardship and operational excellence across sales aftersales parts and administration. By fostering a culture of discretion product passion and white-glove service you will ensure the site exceeds its strategic profitability targets while maintaining pristine manufacturer standards.
Reporting Structure and Team
You will directly oversee and collaborate with:
- Sales Manager
- Business Manager
- Car Sales Executives
- Technicians and Workshop Staff
- Parts Accounts and Administration Teams
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mentor and coach the sales and support teams to master bespoke vehicle commissioning and personalized client interactions.
- Maintain absolute accountability for the site P&L focusing on gross profit per unit accessory commissioning and customer retention rather than high-volume discounting.
- Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals driving exceptional repeat purchase rates and private referrals.
- Oversee all departmental operationsensuring seamless coordination between the showroom elite workshop technicians parts supply and administrative compliance.
- Represent the brand at exclusive VIP preview events and private viewings to secure forward-order sales.
- Ensure full compliance with elite manufacturer audit requirements corporate identity guidelines and high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) benchmarks.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven track record as a General Manager/HOB within a prestige or specialist automotive retail environment.
- Deep experience dealing with high-value transactions and discerning clientele.
- Exceptional financial acumen with a history of growing net profit and managing full site P&L.
- A visible hands-on leadership style that bridges the gap between sales performance and technical aftersales precision.
