Head Housekeeper

As Head Housekeeper you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department. Your duties will include:

• Leading supervising and motivating the housekeeping team
• Planning daily workloads rotas and staff allocation
• Ensuring all rooms and communal areas are cleaned and presented to a consistently high standard
• Carrying out regular quality and cleanliness inspections
• Training supporting and developing members of the housekeeping team
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering cleaning products linen and other supplies as required
• Ensuring equipment is maintained and used safely
• Working closely with other departments to ensure an efficient and professional service
• Ensuring health and safety COSHH and infection-control procedures are followed
• Responding promptly and professionally to any housekeeping issues
• Supporting recruitment induction and performance management within the department

Qualifications :

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous housekeeping experience ideally including supervisory or management responsibility
• Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards
• Is confident leading motivating and organising a team
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills
• Can prioritise workloads and remain organised in a busy environment
• Is reliable approachable and willing to take a hands-on approach
• Understands the importance of health and safety and safe working practices
• Is committed to delivering an excellent experience for our guests
