DN Colleges Group is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable HE Lecturer in Games Development and Esports to join our Higher Education team. Based primarily at University Centre Doncaster (UCD) with collaboration across University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL) you will deliver high-quality teaching and academic support to undergraduate students studying programmes validated by the University of Hull.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing an innovative and engaging higher education experience helping students achieve their academic and professional ambitions while contributing to the continued growth of Games Development and Esports provision across the Group.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Games Development or a closely related subject area.
  • Relevant subject expertise that will enhance the quality of Higher Education programmes.
  • Experience of working within a Higher Education environment.
  • Excellent organisational analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to student success quality improvement equality diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver inspiring and effective teaching across Higher Education Games Development and Esports programmes.
  • Provide high-quality personal academic support and guidance to students.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning development and programme enhancement activities.
  • Participate in programme teams committees quality assurance processes and examination boards.
  • Monitor and evaluate student engagement achievement and progression data to support continuous improvement.
  • Support student recruitment induction enrichment and promotional activities.
  • Develop and share scholarly and industry-informed practice to enhance learning and teaching.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues university partners external examiners and industry stakeholders.
