15.40 per hour PAYE Immediate Start 6-Month Temporary Contract
We are currently recruiting for a Handyman to join a busy facilities management team based at a public sector site in Glasgow (G51 area).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys a varied hands-on role within a professional working environment.

Pay
- 15.40 per hour (PAYE)
Contract
- Temporary contract until 12 December 2026
- Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday
- 8:00am 5:00pm
- 24 hours per week
Duties
- Carry out basic day-to-day building maintenance and remedial repairs.
- Complete general handyman tasks across the site.
- Assist with porterage duties including moving furniture and equipment.
- Escort contractors around the premises where required.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure work is completed safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a handyman maintenance facilities or building services role.
- Confident carrying out basic repairs and general maintenance tasks.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable punctual and able to work independently.
- Right to work in the UK.
