  • Contract: Permanent term time only 8 additional days
  • Hours: 37.5 per week Monday to Friday (10:00am 6:00pm)

Are you an experienced childcare professional looking for a leadership role in a thriving and supportive school environment

The Grammar School at Leeds is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our after-school care team GSAL Owls supporting children aged 211.

In this role youll help to run our after-school provision day to day stepping in for the Owls Manager when needed. Youll be part of a friendly team who create fun safe and engaging activities for children while also helping them feel happy and supported. Youll also play a role in encouraging positive behaviour meeting childrens individual needs and following EYFS guidelines.

As well as working with the Owls team youll spend some of your day supporting our early years colleagues in the classroom especially at lunchtime or when cover is needed. Building strong relationships with children parents and carers will be at the heart of what you do.

Were looking for someone with an NVQ Level 3 (or above) in early years along with paediatric first aid and food hygiene training (or a willingness to complete these). Experience of leading or supporting a team would be a bonus.
