Groundworker (Finishing)

We are looking for experienced Groundworker Finishersto join our groundwork teams on projects across Hackney London.

You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality finishing and detailing works across a range of groundworks ensuring work is completed accurately to drawings levels and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in groundwork finishing concrete works and working to accurate levels and tolerances with a good eye for detail and pride in the quality of their work.

• General groundworks including digging backfilling and concreting
• Carrying out finishing and detailing works across a range of groundworks
• Finishing concrete bases slabs foundations and ground beams to the required standard
• Installing and finishing kerbs channels edgings and drainage features
• Finishing around drainage manholes chambers and service installations
• Ensuring finished surfaces are level correctly aligned and meet the required specification
• Keeping work areas safe tidy and compliant with site rules
• Working as part of a gang to support programme delivery

• CSCS Groundworker card or equivalent with proven site experience
• Proven experience as a Groundwork Finisher
• Able to follow drawings levels and instructions from supervisors
• Reliable punctual and able to work well with other trades
• Right to work in the UK

• CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper and/or Ride-On Roller
• CAT & Genny ticket
