A warm and welcoming family based in Surrey is seeking an experienced domestic couple who love children and animals to work alongside existing staff. This is a long-term live-in position for a discreet hardworking and upbeat couple who enjoy working as part of a team.

Housekeeper / Cook

Working alongside the House Manager responsibilities include:

• High-standard housekeeping throughout the family home
  
• Laundry ironing wardrobe and linen care
  
• Care of fine furnishings and household contents
  
• Preparing healthy family breakfasts lunches and suppers
  
• Menu planning shopping and kitchen organisation
  
• Preparing the house for guests and entertaining
  
• Assisting with household pets and the smooth running of the home
  

Groundsman

Responsibilities include:

• Daily care of horses alpacas chickens peacocks sheep dogs and other animals
  
• Dog walking and maintenance of paddocks and shelters
  
• Estate maintenance fencing repairs and handyman duties
  
• Grounds maintenance including mowing and seasonal clearance
  
• Care of vehicles machinery and equipment
  
• Monitoring estate security and infrastructure
  
• Liaising with contractors and caring for the estate during family absences
  

Requirements

Strong team players essential with a flexible and positive attitude

Discretion and reliability are essential

Two drivers required

Accommodation:

Self-contained cottage provided

Pets welcome but regret not suitable for dependents

Working Hours

• Approximately 40 hours per week with flexibility
  
• Preference for working Saturdays with a weekday off in lieu
