Functional area: Operations & Maintenance
We are looking for a Contract Manager to providematernity leave cover until July 2027 (potential to be extended) to support RWEs Greater Gabbard Windfarm in Lowestoft.
The Contract Managers Purpose is toensure the deliverables for the Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) are met by the RWE Operations Team. Managing routine contractual aspects such as LTSA reports Supplementary Services Requests Invoicing & Requests for Information etc. Be the key contact for the customer in contractual queries and assist the operational team in managing operational support contractors.
About the role:
- Become the onsite LTSA expert becoming the first point of contact for the customer for contractual queries and provide advice and guidance to the RWE operations team in all contractual matters
- Deliver key aspects of the LTSA contract such as:
- Creating the Monthly Report
- Managing key contractual KPIs
- Managing LTSA quarterly invoicing plus any supplementary service invoices
- Support Operational Contract Management:
- Ensure temporary resources are employed & onboarded in conjunction with RWE standards working with the ops team and procurement
- Enact the role of contract officer for all operational contracts onsite supporting the operations team
- Lead monthly contract meetings with suppliers
- Manage variations and tender activities as required with the ops team and procurement
- Provide input to the budget planning process
- Support Operations Manager & Shift Supervisors in completion of their Primary Roles
Job requirements and experience:
- A suitable Contract procurement project management or engineering qualification &/OR Extensive background in Contract Management
- Tender or Scope of Work writing skills
- Advanced communication skills including negotiation and settlement skills
- Proficient at using IT systems
