Description:
We are hiring for our client a leading civil engineering company based in Omagh who is seeking a Graduate / Junior Quantity Surveyor to assist with commercial management of their projects. Gain experience in the efficient and cost-effective management of resources materials and finances from tendering through to final account.

The Role:

  • Assist with the delivery of commercial management services for all tendering and projects.
  • Help prepare timely internal commercial reporting including monthly CVRs and project cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Manage procurement processes including negotiation with clients suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Administer subcontractor and supplier accounts ensuring timely payment and final account agreement.

The Person:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a Construction-related discipline with commercial experience.
  • 1 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Civil Engineering.
  • Understanding of construction costs budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and time management skills.
  • Full driving licence and access to a car.
