About the Role

As a Local Governor you will be part of the Local Governing Body helping to ensure strong governance and a clear focus on the 4Ss Safeguarding SEND Standards and Stakeholder Engagement. Youll work collaboratively with the Headteacher fellow governors and the Trust to uphold high standards in education pupil wellbeing and school performance.

Meetings take place once a term (3 times a year).

You Will:

Attend and contribute to governing body meetings

Support and challenge school leadership to ensure the best outcomes for all students

Act as a link between the school parents the community and the wider Trust

Help ensure compliance with statutory duties and Trust policies

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking individuals with:

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A willingness to learn and contribute to strategic decision-making

Experience in education governance or leadership (not essential full training provided)

A genuine commitment to improving childrens lives through excellent education
