An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Governance Officer to join our Business Assurance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in governance within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation. Working closely with the Governance Manager and Head of Business Assuranceyoullplay a key role in supporting the effective operation of the Trusts governance framework and helping ensure we meet regulatorylegaland best practice requirements.
The role will involve supporting the Trusts Board and Committees through the co-ordination of agendasreportsand Board papers attending meetings producing high-qualityminutesandmaintainingaccurateaction support governance reporting internal assurance processes policymanagementand audit administration while building strong relationships with Board Members Executive Directors and senior colleagues across the organisation.
Werelooking for someone who is highly organisedproactiveand detail-focused with excellent communication and administrative skills. Experience of working in a governance complianceadministrationor company secretarial environment would be beneficial althoughwereequally interested in candidates who are eager to learn and develop within governance.
This role offers genuine development opportunities and the potential to progress into a more senior governance role over time.
