Golf Reservations Agent Marine & Lawn Hotels & Resorts (Summer fixed term contract)

We are currently seeking a Golf Reservations Agent to join our team on a 3-month temporary contract based at Rusacks St Andrews. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional service standards across all golf reservations processes while ensuring guest expectations are exceeded throughout the Marine & Lawn portfolio.

• Answering incoming telephone calls for golf reservation enquiries across the Marine & Lawn portfolio in a timely and professional manner
• Managing email enquiries and reservation follow-ups for all hotels within the portfolio
• Undertaking arrival checks to ensure guest details are captured accurately to support exceptional guest service
• Following up on golf reservation traces and handling guest requests efficiently
• Entering and managing rooming lists
• Liaising with Golf Tour Operator (GTO) agents to obtain rooming lists and billing instructions
• Following up with guests and clients to ensure all queries are resolved appropriately
• Processing and following up on no-show charges where applicable
• Maintaining strong knowledge of all Marine & Lawn hotels and services
• Ensuring accurate use of all designated reservation systems and processes
• Maintaining organised and accurate filing systems for departmental correspondence
• Supporting all aspects of golf reservations across the portfolio
• Ensuring agreed service levels for Golf Tour Operators are achieved
• Coordinating golf group information with hotel operations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Updating and maintaining accurate guest history records
• Working collaboratively with other departments to support operational success

• High levels of resilience and adaptability
• Previous hotel or customer-facing experience would be advantageous
• Experience using Opera or HMS systems is essential
