Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead global regulatory strategies aligned to development commercial and portfolio objectives.

  • Lead Health Authority interactions to advance programs and achieve successful regulatory outcomes.

  • Evaluate regulatory opportunities and risks implementing mitigation plans across global markets.

  • Provide strategic guidance on development plans labeling and key regulatory documentation.

  • Oversee regulatory submissions ensuring high-quality dossiers and timely execution of deliverables.

  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams to drive aligned decision-making and program success.

  • Coach and develop regulatory team members while fostering collaboration learning and performance excellence.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred.

  • Significant regulatory affairs and pharmaceutical development experience across multiple stages of product development.

  • Proven expertise in developing and executing global regulatory strategies for complex programmes.

  • Strong experience leading Health Authority interactions negotiations and major regulatory submissions.

  • Demonstrated matrix leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders globally.

  • Excellent communication strategic thinking problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 83510 to 155090

The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives such as relevant skills competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.

In addition to your base salary you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
