Job Summary
Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Global Process Expert for Cash & Banking based in Glasgow.
Youll provide deep subject matter expertise and operational leadership across Aggrekos global Cash Banking and Bank Reconciliation processes. Reporting to the Global Process Owner you will support the design governance and continuous improvement of globally standardised processes executed through Shared Services and local finance teams. This role ensures strong financial control and cash governance improved cash visibility accuracy and predictability a faster and more reliable financial close and best-in-class working capital performance.

What youll do as Global Process Expert for Cash & Banking:
- Serve as the global subject matter expert for end-to-end Cash & Banking processes supporting the GPO in defining standard process design controls and documentation ensuring alignment across AP AR and Record to Report.
- Define and maintain the global one way of working for Cash & Banking including process maps policies standards controls RACIs SLAs and KPIs ensuring consistent application and continuous refinement across all regions.
- Establish and enforce robust global Cash and Banking control standards (bank accounts mandates payments connectivity) ensuring compliance with internal policies audit requirements and regulatory changes while maintaining audit-ready processes.
- Partner with ERP IT and Data teams to ensure systems support global process design; drive automation of cash postings bank statement processing and reconciliations; and implement connectivity and visibility platforms aligning master data to finance architecture.
- Support timely and accurate bank reconciliations globally; promote continuous reconciliation to ease month-end pressure; conduct root cause analysis and resolve issues to ensure consistent cash balances for financial close.
- Act as a key contact for regional teams and Shared Services on Cash & Banking; support multi-year roadmaps for Faster Close and Finance Transformation; deliver training; lead process forums; and provide expert input for audits and transformation initiatives.
You are:
- Experienced in Cash and Banking within a global organisation or Shared Services environment.
- Experienced supporting process standardisation optimisation and finance transformation initiatives.
- Experienced working in controlled audit-driven environments.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Experienced working with ERP systems and Cash and Banking tooling.
- Comfortable operating in a global matrix organisation.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
