Transaction Banking

Transaction Banking a business unit within Global Banking & Markets aims to provide comprehensive cash management solutions for corporations. The Team

The Digital Engineering team is responsible for providing unified digital experience to our clients that interact with Transaction Banking products via different interfaces such as Banking as a Service API client portal Files and SWIFT network. Our mission is to build a state of the art digital interface that meets our corporate clients needs. We are starting with a clean slate and one singular goal in mind: build a highlyscalable resilient 24x7 available cloud-based platform that our corporate clients can rely to meet their cash management needs.

Our flat structure requires and enables team members to evolve through the entire spectrum of the software life-cycle and closely collaborate with product owners business and operations users.

The Role

As part of our global team you will work front to back as a Lead Engineer primarily focusing on UI products.

As a project lead you will drive the design and implementation of critical components in the Digital Engineering stack focusing the team on code quality automation and testability with a focus on UI solutions whilst working closely with backend teams and technologies too. As a manager you will develop talent of a group of passionate engineersworking directly with product owners visual designers and business clients to deliverour goal of a consumer-grade industry beating Digital Experience.

You will be expected to contribute to the vision define our product roadmap and contribute to building an engineering culture within our global team. Our flat structure requires and enables team members to evolve through the entire spectrum of the software life-cycle and closely collaborate with product owners business and operations users.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experienceusing amodern UI programming language (Javascript/TypeScript)
• Experience building modern UI products using React
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders
• Experience architecting designing full stack apps in AWS
• Prior experience with working on high availability mission critical systems using active/active and blue-green deployment methodology
• BS. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)

PreferredQualifications

• Experience withNode Webpack MobX Redux
• Experience with Spring boot Kafka
• Experience with Microservice architectures and REST API
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and nosql (Dynamo/Mongo DB)
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Transaction Banking Payment domain
• Experience in Financial Services or Fintech
• Practical experience with containers is a plus
• Comfort with Agile operating models (practical experience of Scrum / Kanban)
