Things youll do in this role:
Work with project developers to develop code to quantify net carbon removal or reduction in biosphere projects going through Isometrics validation & verification process in line with Isometric protocols. This includes:
Conducting AGB estimates;
Developing dynamic baseline approaches;
Developing uncertainty quantification approaches.
Support Isometrics commercial team in providing bespoke indicative analysis to inform potential project developers about their carbon sequestration potential.
Abstract the bespoke solutions you develop for project developers into reusable code components.
Collaborate with the Data Science and Biosphere Science teams at Isometric to review and adapt your approaches.
Proficiency in data analysis geospatial data and using cloud-hosted tools (e.g. BigQuery Jupyter).
Strong Python skills with experience in data abstractions pipeline management and integrating machine learning solutions.
Clear communication skills and skilled ability to work with customers.
Adaptability to evolving priorities and a proactive approach to solving impactful problems especially in dynamic environments.
