The successful Geography Teacher will teach across KS3 and KS4 and deliver a broad curriculum covering both physical and human Geography. You will help students understand topics such as natural hazards ecosystems climate change urban environments development and geographical inequalities.

The school is looking for someone who can use maps data case studies and contemporary examples effectively to develop students understanding. At GCSE you will prepare students for examinations while helping them develop the ability to interpret information evaluate geographical issues and construct well-supported answers.

You will be responsible for planning lessons assessing progress and providing useful feedback. Differentiation will be important as you will work with students with different levels of confidence and prior attainment.

The department values teamwork so you will have opportunities to work alongside colleagues on curriculum planning resources and assessment. You may also have opportunities to contribute to fieldwork and wider Geography activities.
