Are you passionate about Geography and keen to help students understand the relationship between people places and the physical environment A secondary school in Cheshire is looking for a committed Geography Teacher to join its Humanities Department.

The successful Geography Teacher will deliver a varied programme across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 covering both physical and human Geography.

You will teach topics such as physical landscapes ecosystems urban environments development climate change and geographical processes depending on the schools curriculum. At GCSE you will help students develop the geographical knowledge fieldwork skills and analytical techniques required by the specification.

The school is looking for someone who can make Geography relevant through case studies data maps and real-world examples. You will be expected to encourage students to question geographical patterns and consider the wider impact of environmental and human processes.

Salary

The salary for this Geography Teacher position will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS depending on experience and qualifications.
